For some of the conference participants, there was a clear alignment between the missions of public broadcasting and Open Content. Others cautioned against a race to embrace this new media, fearing it could undercut some of the most vital parts of our identity and social contribution. What biases, pro and anti, do we bring to the Open Content discussion? If we do not embrace Open Content, will we become irrelevant? If we do, will Open Content offer new and exciting ways to serve our audiences?
